About this kit
The Zvezda 1/35 Su-85 Self Propelled Gun (Z3690) is a 2019 new tool kit of the Soviet tank destroyer that mounted an 85mm gun in a fixed casemate on the T-34 chassis. It gave Red Army units a way to engage Tigers and Panthers before up gunned tanks arrived.
Built in a low, slab sided casemate, the SU-85 is a satisfying kit to paint and weather, with plenty of flat surfaces for chipping and dust effects. The rope and clear vinyl sheet add finishing touches, and it fits neatly into a growing collection of Zvezda T-34 based vehicles.
