Whats this all about then?

Modellers Anonymous is a friendly, relaxed scale modelling social club based in Rugby. Whether you build tanks, aircraft, cars, sci-fi kits, tabletop miniatures, ships, or anything in between, you're welcome here. Bring a project, grab a seat, and spend a few hours building alongside fellow modellers in a comfortable well-equipped space. Chat, share ideas, pick up new techniques, swap kits, and get advice from hobbyists of all skill levels.

Members can:

Work on personal projects in a social environment
Share finished builds and works-in-progress on our show & tell table
Take part in themed builds and group projects
Learn new tips, tools, and techniques from other modellers
Help grow a local modelling community in Rugby

The Venue

St George's Hall is a spacious and light venue with everything you need for a comfortable modelling session. There's ample parking, an outdoor garden area, toilets, and two kitchens. Tea, coffee, and refreshments are provided, though you're welcome to bring your own drinks or snacks.

Tables and chairs are set up and ready to go. We're actively building up shared club resources, with large cutting mats top of the list, for now, please bring your own to protect the tables provided.

Over the first six months, we'll be investing in tools, airbrushing stations, photography equipment, and more to make each session better than the last.

What happens at the club?

Modellers Anonymous is a casual social club where you can build models, meet fellow hobbyists, share techniques, swap kits, and take part in group builds in a friendly, well-equipped environment.

Do I need to book in advance?

For members, no just turn up. For single sessions, booking online is recommended so we know numbers, though you can pay on the door if space allows.

How often does the club meet?

Fortnightly, the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month, at St George's Church Hall. Dates are posted on the website and the SuperModels Rugby Facebook page. Sessions are from 6:30pm to 9:30pm

I'm a complete beginner, is that okay?

Absolutely. The club is for all levels. If you've never built a kit before and want to know where to start, there'll be people there who can help.

What scale or genre does the club focus on?

No restrictions — armour, aircraft, ships, cars, Gunpla, figures, dioramas. If you build it, bring it.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes, monthly memberships can be cancelled any time. You'll keep access until the end of the month you've paid for.

What does my membership get me?

The membership pays for the venue and regular investment into shared club equipment. Over the first six months, we'll be investing in tools, airbrushing stations, photography equipment, and more to make each session better than the last.

Is there a shop discount for members?

Yes! Monthly and Annual members receive a 10% discount in-store as part of their membership.

Do I need to buy a kit from SuperModels

No. There is no hard sell from us except for attendance and membership fees. You're free to bring and build whatever you like. However if you need anything we're just around the corner and our website is available 24/7.
