About this kit
The Zvezda 1/35 Soviet Tank Hunters with Dogs (Z3611) is a set of three Red Army soldiers with three dogs, recalling the Soviet practice of training dogs to run under enemy tanks carrying explosive charges. It is one of the more unusual stories of the Eastern Front and makes a striking diorama subject.
Set the dogs and their handlers in a trench or behind a hedge with a German tank approaching, and you have a tense, story driven diorama that always draws questions from viewers. The animals also offer a nice change of painting texture from uniforms and equipment.
