About this kit
The Zvezda 1/35 Soviet Cossacks WWII (Z3579) is a set of four mounted Red Army Cossack cavalrymen charging with sabres drawn. Soviet cavalry corps fought throughout the war, often raiding behind German lines, and this set is a dramatic way to show that side of the Eastern Front.
Mounted figures add movement and drama that infantry alone cannot, and horses are a rewarding painting challenge with plenty of scope for different coat colours. Put the riders on a snowy steppe base or a muddy village road for an eye catching scene.
