Zvezda 1/35 Military - Russian Main Battle Tank T-80UD - Z3591

The Zvezda 1/35 Russian Main Battle Tank T-80UD (Z3591) is a plastic model kit of the diesel powered member of the T-80 family, adopted in 1987. Combining the T-80U turret and 125 mm gun with a diesel engine in place of the gas turbine, the T-80UD is an important Cold War subject for any modern armour collection.

Placed beside a T-90 or the earlier T-62, it helps show how Soviet tank design evolved through the late Cold War. The angular turret and side skirts look superb with dust, mud and chipping effects, and it suits both parade and field condition finishes.
