About this kit
The Zvezda 1/48 Mi-171Sh Russian Military Transport Helicopter (Z4835) is a 2026 release of the armed assault transport member of the Mil Mi-8 Hip family. In 1/48 scale it builds into an impressive, large model with plenty of room for detail.
The Mi-8 family is the most produced helicopter in the world, and the armed Mi-171Sh and Mi-8AMTSh versions add stub pylons for weapons to the familiar Hip shape. The choice of Chinese and Russian markings gives builders a range of modern camouflage schemes to choose from.
