About this kit
The Zvezda 1/72 Soviet Fighter Lavochkin La-5 (Z7334) is a plastic model kit of the radial engined fighter that entered service in 1942. Powered by the Shvetsov ASh-82 engine, the La-5 was a major step forward for Soviet fighter units and was flown by many leading aces.
The La-5 was developed from the earlier LaGG-3 by replacing its inline engine with a radial, transforming the aircraft's performance. In 1/72 it builds into a small but characterful model that fits neatly beside other WWII Soviet and German fighters on the shelf. Soviet fighters of this period wore a variety of green, grey and winter schemes, so there is plenty of choice when painting.
