About this kit
The Zvezda 1/35 BTR-70 with MA-7 Turret (Z3587) is a plastic model kit of the eight wheeled amphibious armoured personnel carrier, upgraded with the MA-7 universal turret. The MA-7 mounts a 12.7 mm and a 7.62 mm machine gun with smoke dischargers, giving the familiar BTR-70 a more modern, heavily armed look.
The eight big tyres and boat shaped hull make the BTR-70 a satisfying build, and the added turret gives it a purposeful look. It is well suited to Afghan, Chechen or Cold War exercise dioramas with infantry dismounting.
