XF-59 Desert Yellow is part of Tamiya's XF range of flat acrylic mini paints, providing the standard German Dunkelgelb dark yellow used as the base colour for late-war Wehrmacht vehicles from 1943 onwards. Desert Yellow / Dunkelgelb (RAL 7028) is the definitive German late-war armour base colour, applied over Panzer Grey as the new standard and subsequently modified with field-applied camouflage patterns in red-brown and green.
