XF-57 Buff is part of Tamiya's XF range of flat acrylic mini paints, providing a pale warm tan for desert highlights, sun-bleached weathering effects, and canvas colour. Buff is one of the most useful mixing and highlighting colours in the XF range — added to sandy base colours it simulates sun bleaching and dust accumulation, and applied neat it provides a convincing canvas and linen colour for equipment stowage and figure uniforms.
