XF-50 Field Blue is part of Tamiya's XF range of flat acrylic mini paints, matching the medium blue-grey used by the Luftwaffe on aircraft undersurfaces in the early war period — RLM 65 Hellblau. Field Blue appears on the undersides of Bf 109Es, Ju 87s, He 111s, and most Luftwaffe aircraft in the 1939–41 period before the shift to the RLM 74/75/76 scheme.
