About this product
The Tamiya Mechanical Ostrich (71104) is a motorised mechanical kit from Tamiya's Educational series, building into a battery powered ostrich that strides on its distinctive two long legs. The bipedal walking mechanism demonstrates different engineering principles from the four legged kits, with the ostrich's long legs and characteristic bobbing neck creating an instantly recognisable birdlike movement. A fun and educational build that doubles as a desktop novelty.
Suitable for ages 10 and up.
