LP-77 Light Brown (DAK 1942) is part of Tamiya's LP lacquer paint range, providing the sand colour (Sandgelb) used by German Afrika Korps vehicles from 1942 onwards — a lighter, sandier shade than the 1941 Gelbbraun (LP-76). By 1942 the DAK had evolved its vehicle colour scheme towards a paler, more authentically desert-coloured appearance. Essential for late-period North African campaign and Rommel's final offensive modelling.
