LP-18 Dull Red is part of Tamiya's LP lacquer paint range, providing the dark reddish-brown used for painting ship hull bottoms below the waterline, wooden deck undersides, and various rust and earth tones in military modelling. The anti-fouling red of ship hulls is one of the most distinctive and frequently needed ship modelling colours, and this dull, flat red provides the right tone for the vast majority of WWII-era vessel hull bottoms.
