LP-16 Wooden Deck Tan is part of Tamiya's LP lacquer paint range, specifically formulated to replicate the teak or cypress wooden decking found on Japanese and other WWII-era warships. The correct shade for painting teak deck surfaces on IJN battleships, cruisers, and other vessels — most importantly the Yamato and Musashi whose wooden decks are one of their most distinctive visual features.
