The Tamiya Fine Lapping Film (87144) is a set of ultra-fine abrasive film sheets for polishing clear parts, canopies, windscreens, and painted surfaces on scale models. Finer than standard sanding sticks and paper, lapping film cuts very gently to remove light scratches and produce a clear, glossy surface on clear plastic. Used progressively from coarser to finer grades for the best results on canopies and clear displays.
