TS-101 Base White is part of Tamiya's TS range of synthetic lacquer spray paints, providing a specialised base white designed as an undercoat for subsequent TS colour coats — particularly for lighter, more transparent colours where a white base maximises brightness and colour accuracy. Different from Pure White (TS-26), Base White is optimised for underlayer use rather than as a finished colour.
