The Tamiya 1/350 Japanese Destroyer Yukikaze (78020) reproduces one of the most celebrated and famous destroyers of the Imperial Japanese Navy — the Yukikaze (Snow Wind) that earned an almost supernatural reputation for surviving the Pacific War intact while the ships around her were lost. She participated in virtually every major naval battle from Pearl Harbor to Okinawa, surviving operations that destroyed dozens of her sister ships, and was the only major IJN warship still in service at the war's end to be handed over intact.
