The Tamiya Fine Pivot Bit 0.5mm Shank 1mm (74116) is a 0.5mm replacement drill bit with a 1mm shank for Tamiya pin vices. The 0.5mm size is a very commonly used drill size for scale modelling — suitable for aircraft cannon barrels in 1/48, 1/35 MG barrels, and a wide range of small detail holes. Slightly more robust than the 0.2–0.4mm sizes, making it a good starting point for fine drilling work.
