About this kit
The Tamiya 1/48 Avro Lancaster B Mk I/III (61112) recreates one of the most famous bombers of the Second World War. Over 7,377 were built for the Royal Air Force, each powered by four Rolls Royce Merlin engines.
- Length 443mm and wingspan 648mm when built
- Two kinds of nose window, rear turret and exhausts for early and late Mk I and Mk III versions
- Pre painted and unpainted canopy parts included, with some exceptions
- Detailed cockpit, gun turrets and bomb bay, with movable nose, dorsal and tail turrets
- Two Merlin engines with removable cowlings, and bomb bay doors that can be open or closed
- Bombs including 200lb and 4,000lb types, five crew figures and four marking options
Paints and glue are not included. A limited edition kit for serious aircraft modellers.
