Tamiya 1/48 Aircraft - V-1 (Fieseler Fi103) - 61052

The Tamiya 1/48 V-1 Flying Bomb Fieseler Fi 103 (61052) reproduces the world's first operational cruise missile — the V-1 Vergeltungswaffe (Revenge Weapon) that Germany launched against Britain from June 1944 onwards. Propelled by an Argus pulse-jet engine that produced its distinctive buzzing sound, the V-1 carried an 850kg warhead at around 640km/h. Over 10,000 were fired at London and Antwerp, prompting RAF fighter pilots and anti-aircraft gunners to develop new interception techniques.

Tamiya's 1/48 kit captures the V-1's distinctive cylindrical fuselage, stubby wings, and pulse-jet engine mounting, including launch ramp elements for a complete diorama scene.
