The Tamiya 1/48 Spitfire Mk.Vb (61033) reproduces one of the most iconic and beloved aircraft in aviation history in the highly popular 1/48 scale. The Spitfire Mk.Vb was the RAF's primary frontline fighter during 1941 and 1942, bearing the brunt of the air war over occupied Europe and Malta during some of the most intense aerial combat of the entire conflict. Armed with two 20mm Hispano cannons and four .303 Browning machine guns, the Mk.Vb was a formidable opponent to the Luftwaffe's best.
