The Tamiya 1/72 North American F-51D Mustang Korean War (60754) reproduces the legendary Mustang in its Korean War configuration in the compact and affordable 1/72 scale. Redesignated from P-51D to F-51D with the jet age, the Mustang was pressed back into frontline combat in Korea when jets proved poorly suited to close air support over the peninsula's difficult terrain. F-51Ds flew from primitive airstrips supporting UN ground forces throughout the conflict.
