The Tamiya 1/35 Renault R35 French Light Tank (35373) reproduces the standard French light infantry tank of the 1930s and 1940 campaign — the R35 that was produced in greater numbers than any other French tank before the fall of France. Despite its outdated design and inadequate armament by 1940 standards, the R35 soldiered on in French Army service and was widely exported, with examples also serving with the German Army after capture and with other nations through the war and beyond.
