The Tamiya 1/35 Russian Heavy Tank KV-1 1941 Early Production (35372) reproduces the Soviet heavy tank that proved virtually impenetrable to all standard German anti-tank weapons in the opening months of Operation Barbarossa. The KV-1 1941 early production model carried a 76mm gun in a well-armoured cast turret on the distinctive KV chassis that could withstand most German fire at standard combat ranges in 1941, causing enormous problems for the advancing Wehrmacht.
