The Tamiya 1/35 British Archer Anti-Tank Gun (35356) reproduces one of the most unusual tank destroyer designs of the Second World War. Built on a Valentine infantry tank chassis with its 17-pounder gun mounted facing rearward, the Archer was a distinctly British solution to the need for a mobile, hard-hitting anti-tank platform. Despite its unconventional layout, it proved highly effective in service from 1944 onwards.
