The Tamiya 1/35 SU-76M (35348) reproduces the most widely produced Soviet self-propelled gun of the Second World War — the SU-76M that served in enormous numbers from the battles around Kursk through to Berlin. Armed with the capable ZiS-3 76mm gun on a light tank chassis, the SU-76M was fast, reliable, and effective against German light armour and infantry positions. It was known affectionately by its crews as the 'Suka' (Little Bitch) for its cramped open fighting compartment.
