The Tamiya 1/35 Russian JSU-152 (35303) reproduces the most powerful Soviet assault gun of the Second World War — the fearsome 'Beast Killer' armed with the 152mm howitzer-gun that could obliterate even the heaviest German armour with a single hit. Built on the KV-1 heavy tank chassis, the JSU-152 was deployed in Independent Heavy Self-Propelled Artillery Regiments and proved devastating against both armour and fortifications throughout 1943-45.

Tamiya's 1/35 kit captures the JSU-152's massive slab-sided casemate, enormous gun mantlet, and KV-based running gear with excellent accuracy. An essential Eastern Front subject and a counterpart to German heavy armour models.
