Tamiya 1/35 Military - Pz Kpfw III Ausf N - 35290

The Tamiya 1/35 Panzer III Ausf.N (35290) reproduces one of the most interesting Panzer III variants — the Ausf.N that replaced the 5cm anti-tank gun with a short 7.5cm L/24 howitzer to create a close infantry support version. Converted from earlier Ausf.J/L/M hulls, the Ausf.N was often assigned to Tiger and Panther units to provide close-range infantry support, since the long-barrel tanks were less suited to engaging soft targets and enemy troops at short range.

Tamiya's 1/35 kit captures the Ausf.N's distinctive short 7.5cm barrel and late-war Schürzen side skirts with characteristic accuracy.
