The Tamiya 1/35 SturmGeschutz III Ausf.B (35281) reproduces the second production variant of the most-produced German AFV of the entire Second World War. The StuG III started its career as an infantry support vehicle armed with a short 75mm howitzer, and the Ausf.B introduced improved running gear and production refinements that set the pattern for later variants. It saw action in the Battle of France and the opening campaigns on the Eastern Front.
