The Challenger 2 is one of the most complex and visually detailed modern tanks ever built, with numerous grilles, mesh panels, and external detail that benefit greatly from thin metal photo-etched parts rather than the plastic mouldings in the base kit.

Photo-etched parts are the premium detail upgrade for any serious armour modeller, providing an immediately visible improvement to engine deck grilles, side skirt mesh, and other detail areas. Designed for use alongside the Tamiya Challenger 2 or Challenger 2 Desertised kits.
