The Tamiya 1/35 Sd.Kfz.222 with Photo-Etched Parts (35270) reproduces the light four-wheeled German armoured car armed with a 20mm autocannon and co-axial MG13 in a distinctive open-topped turret with a folding wire mesh screen to protect against grenades. The Sd.Kfz.222 was the primary German light armoured car from 1936 onwards, serving in reconnaissance units through Poland, France, North Africa, and the Eastern Front before being replaced by heavier types.

This kit includes photo-etched parts for the distinctive wire mesh turret screen and other fine details that plastic moulding cannot capture at this scale.
