The Tamiya 1/35 German SturmGeschutz III Ausf.G (35197) reproduces the most widely produced variant of Germany's most-produced AFV of the entire war — the StuG III Ausf.G. By the late war the StuG III had evolved from an infantry support gun into an effective tank destroyer, armed with the long 7.5cm StuK 40 L/48 gun capable of defeating most Allied tanks at combat ranges. The Ausf.G introduced cast armour additions, Schürzen side skirts, and a new commander's cupola.

Tamiya's 1/35 kit captures the Ausf.G's distinctive late-war appearance with exceptional accuracy. Crew figures and Schürzen are included, making this a complete and satisfying build.
