The Tamiya Zimmerit Coating Applicator (35187) is a specialist modelling tool for applying zimmerit anti-magnetic paste coatings to 1/35 scale German armoured vehicles. The applicator creates the distinctive ridged or waffle texture found on Panther, Tiger, and other German tanks from 1943 onwards, used in the field to prevent magnetic mines from adhering to the hull.
