The Tamiya 1/35 British Challenger 1 Mk.3 (35154) reproduces the main battle tank that replaced the Chieftain in British Army service during the 1980s and famously proved its worth during Operation Desert Storm in 1991, where Challenger 1 tanks destroyed over 300 Iraqi armoured vehicles without a single loss to enemy fire.

Tamiya's 1/35 kit captures the Challenger 1's distinctive Chobham composite armour, slab-sided turret, and powerful 120mm L11A5 rifled gun in excellent detail. The Mk.3 variant includes the full range of late-production improvements. A great subject for collectors of modern British armour.
