Tamiya 1/35 Military - U.S. M4A3E2 'JUMBO' - 35139

The Tamiya 1/35 U.S. M4A3E2 'Jumbo' Sherman (35139) reproduces the most heavily armoured Sherman variant of the Second World War — the M4A3E2 assault tank fitted with additional appliqué armour on the hull and turret to create a vehicle that could lead infantry through fortified positions. The 'Jumbo' was hurriedly produced in 1944 to provide armoured breaching capability ahead of the Siegfried Line assault, and it proved highly effective despite its extra weight.

Tamiya's 1/35 kit faithfully captures the Jumbo's distinctive thickened hull and turret armour, heavier cast turret, and the visual presence that distinguished it from standard Shermans on the battlefield.
