Tamiya 1/35 Military - U.S. M113 ACAV Ltd - 35135

The Tamiya 1/35 U.S. M113 ACAV (35135) reproduces the M113 Armoured Cavalry Assault Vehicle — the armed-up version of the standard M113 APC that saw widespread use in Vietnam. The ACAV conversion added a commander's .50 cal cupola, two M60 machine gun shields on the troop compartment, and other combat modifications that transformed the standard APC into a fighting vehicle capable of aggressive cavalry operations through the jungle and rice paddies of South Vietnam.

Tamiya's 1/35 kit captures the ACAV's distinctive armament and modifications with good detail, making it an important and evocative Vietnam-era subject.
