Tamiya 1/35 Military - U.S. M48A3 Patton - 35120

The Tamiya 1/35 U.S. M48A3 Patton Tank (35120) reproduces the M48A3 — the diesel-powered upgrade of the M48 that served as the principal US tank during the Vietnam War. The M48A3 was refitted with a Continental AVDS-1790 diesel engine, a new commander's cupola, and revised external details. In Vietnam it operated alongside M113s and infantry in the counterinsurgency environment, providing direct fire support in a role very different from what it was designed for.
