The Tamiya 1/35 Japanese Tank Type 97 Chi-Ha (35075) reproduces the principal Japanese medium tank of the Second World War — the Type 97 Chi-Ha that served from China through Malaya, the Philippines, and the Pacific island campaigns. While outclassed by most Allied and German tanks by mid-war, the Chi-Ha was technically advanced compared to Western tanks of the early 1930s and remained the backbone of Japanese armoured forces throughout the conflict.
