The Tamiya 1/48 German Nashorn Tank Destroyer (32600) reproduces the long-range 88mm tank destroyer in the compact and detailed 1/48 scale. The Nashorn (Rhinoceros) mounted the devastating 8.8cm PaK 43 gun — the same weapon fitted to the Tiger II — on the Geschützwagen III/IV hybrid chassis. With exceptional range and penetration, Nashorn crews claimed kills at ranges over 2,000 metres, making it one of the most effective German anti-tank weapons of the war despite its exposed open fighting compartment.
