Tamiya 1/48 Military - 1/48 Elefant - 32589

The Tamiya 1/48 German Elefant Tank Destroyer (32589) reproduces the most heavily armoured tank destroyer of the Second World War in the compact and highly detailed 1/48 scale. The Elefant (formerly Ferdinand) mated the massive Porsche Tiger hull with the devastating 8.8cm PaK 43 gun to create a vehicle whose front armour was practically impenetrable to any Allied weapon. Used at Kursk in July 1943, it was modified and redeployed in Italy and the Eastern Front, serving in small numbers until the end of the war.
