The Tamiya 1/48 U.S. 2.5-Ton 6x6 Fuel Truck (32579) reproduces the fuel-carrying tanker variant of the iconic American Deuce and a Half — the essential vehicle for keeping Allied armoured and motorised formations fuelled for the drive across France and into Germany. The fuel truck version of the GMC CCKW 6x6 carried a cylindrical tank body in place of the cargo bed, and it was a critical element of the Red Ball Express supply operation.
