The Tamiya 1/48 Sd.Kfz.232 German Armoured Car (32574) reproduces the impressive German eight-wheeled heavy armoured car in the compact 1/48 scale. The Sd.Kfz.232 was the long-range radio communication variant of the eight-wheel armoured car family, fitted with a distinctive frame antenna that allowed contact with divisional headquarters while the 20mm autocannon remained fully operational. It served in the reconnaissance battalions of German armoured divisions from Poland to the end of the war.
