Tamiya 1/48 Military - Sturmgeschutz III Early Prod - 32540

The Tamiya 1/48 Sturmgeschütz III Early Production (32540) reproduces the earliest form of the StuG III in compact 1/48 scale — the original Ausf.A through early Ausf.E variants with the fixed, box-like superstructure and short 7.5cm StuK 37 howitzer. These first StuGs proved the concept of the turretless assault gun and demonstrated that infantry-support firepower could be delivered from an armoured, mobile platform. By the time Germany invaded France in 1940 the StuG III was already establishing its reputation.
