Tamiya 1/700 Ships - 1/700 Light Cruiser Mogami - 31359

The Tamiya 1/700 IJN Light Cruiser Mogami (31359) reproduces the Mogami in her original configuration as a light cruiser — before the re-arming and subsequent aviation cruiser conversion that characterised her later career. In her initial light cruiser form with fifteen 15.5cm guns in five triple turrets, she was one of the most powerfully armed light cruisers afloat, pushing the boundaries of what the Washington Treaty allowed. This kit captures her at her most graceful, before wartime modifications changed her appearance significantly.
