The S2000 was Honda's celebration of its 50th anniversary — a proper front-engined, rear-wheel-drive roadster powered by the F20C engine, which at the time produced the highest specific output of any naturally aspirated production engine in the world at 240bhp per litre. The 9,000rpm redline, precise gearshift, and exceptional handling made it a driver's dream.
