Tamiya 1/24 Cars - Toyota GT-One TS020 - 24222

The Tamiya 1/24 Toyota GT-One TS020 (24222) reproduces Toyota's ambitious Le Mans GT1-class prototype from the 1998 and 1999 seasons. Built to challenge Porsche, McLaren, and Mercedes in the fiercely competitive GT1 class, the TS020 was powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.6-litre V8 and featured dramatic aerodynamics including a massive rear fin and prominent front diffuser. Despite leading at Le Mans in 1999 only to be halted by mechanical problems, the GT-One remains one of the most impressive Japanese Le Mans projects ever undertaken.

Tamiya's 1/24 kit captures the TS020's dramatic prototype bodywork and distinctive Toyota motorsport livery with excellent accuracy.
