The Tamiya 1/20 Tyrrell P34 1976 Japan GP with Photo-Etch (20058) reproduces the most extraordinary Formula 1 car ever to race — the Tyrrell six-wheeler that stunned the world when it appeared in 1976. Designed by Derek Gardner, the P34 replaced the two conventional front wheels with four smaller ones, reducing frontal area and increasing front brake cooling. Jody Scheckter and Patrick Depailler raced it to a famous 1-2 finish at the 1976 Swedish Grand Prix.
