The Tamiya 1/12 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-RR (14109) reproduces the Kawasaki MotoGP factory racer — the ZX-RR that brought Kawasaki into the premier class of motorcycle Grand Prix racing following the introduction of the 990cc four-stroke MotoGP formula in 2002. The ZX-RR's inline-four layout was a departure from the dominant V-configuration engines, and Kawasaki worked continuously to develop its potential throughout their MotoGP programme, with Olivier Jacque and later Randy de Puniet campaigning the bike.
