Tamiya 1/12 Bikes - Honda CBR 1100XX Super Blackbird - 14070

The Tamiya 1/12 Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird (14070) reproduces the Honda that held the title of world's fastest production motorcycle from 1997 to 1999 — the CBR1100XX Super Blackbird. Powered by a 1137cc inline-four producing 164hp and aerodynamically optimised in the Honda wind tunnel, the Blackbird achieved a top speed of 178mph on launch, displacing the Kawasaki ZZ-R1100 as the speed king. The name 'Super Blackbird' referred to the legendary Lockheed SR-71 reconnaissance aircraft.

Tamiya's 1/12 kit captures the Blackbird's wind-cheating aerodynamic fairing and powerful inline-four in excellent scale detail.
